Electrofy is built on the principle of "by craftsmen, for craftsmen," conceived in collaboration with industry experts and the ZVEH, Germany's largest association of electricians. Recognizing that the real challenges in the electrical. It is a hardware-independent platform that serves as a bridge between existing startups and the broader craftsmanship sector.
Electrofy was created to solve several key challenges faced by both clients and craftsmen, particularly around installation processes and the shortage of skilled workers. One major issue is the frequent mismatch between projects and specialist companies, often caused by differences in size, location, or availability. The growing lack of skilled workers further complicates things, making it hard to find qualified people for specific tasks. Many specialist companies remain idle and disconnected from broader networks, making collaboration difficult. The process of identifying the right company or preparing bids can be time-consuming and inefficient. On top of that, projects often face hidden costs due to unexpected expenses or changes in scope.
Electrofy started with a B2C model but quickly found the direct-to-consumer space too saturated. This insight led to a strategic pivot toward B2B, where there was a clearer need for connecting businesses with skilled craft companies. Today, Electrofy provides an all-in-one platform that simplifies the entire service execution process, from matching to delivery.
